Muliot
The installation Muliot was part of NOTAM’s sound art exhibition Absorption and Resonance, which opened November 20, 2008. Muliot was exhibited between December 14, 2008 and January 25, 2009. With the title Muliot, Askefoss shows us some of his references: Muoyce by John Cage, and the poem The Waste Land by T. S. Eliot. al-Khowarizmi’s mechanical orchestra
al Khowarizmis mechanical orchestra is the title of an installation by Christian Blom’s, which is commissioned by NOTAM. It is a “mini orchestra” that is controlled from a computer via electrical impulses and mechanical parts. The work was premiered in December 2008. Baobab register
Baobab register is an electroacoustic work commisioned by NOTAM that was premiered December 8, 2008 as part of the «Kick-off»-festival for Electric Audio Unit at Det Åpne Teater in Oslo. The piece is based on recorded material by clarinet player Hans Christian Bræin.
